kevin_claycomb.jpgKevin Claycomb is an Electrical Engineering graduate student pursuing his Master’s degree. He’ll be looking for a job around January 2008. Besides SubjuGator, Kevin also works with CIMAR on University of Florida’s DARPA Urban Challenge vehicle.

Co-Leader..

sean_cohen.jpgSean Cohen is an Electrical Engineering undergraduate student at the university. While attending part-time classes at University of Florida, he works as a field service engineer for Tritech. He is our resident Windows whiz.

..Software Lead

Matthews is a Computer Engineering graduate student at University of Florida pursuing his Ph.D. He currently holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a Master’s degree in Software Engineering. Besides SubjuGator, Sean works with University of Florida’s humanitarian landmine detection research group and, and helps out with CIMAR’s DARPA Urban Challenge vehicle. Though he will not graduate for several years, he will always consider interesting opportunities.

Jacob Collums..
Mechanical Engineer..

jacob_collums.jpg Jacob Collums is a Mechanical Engineering undergraduate student at University of Florida. Jacob has lead the team through four different SubjuGator designs this year and hopes we can all agree on the current design. He is due to graduate soon, so job offers are welcome.

greg_c.jpgGreg C is an Electrical Engineering graduate student at University of Florida pursuing his Ph.D. Besides designing signal filters in his free time, Greg develops SubjuGator’s aural system using four expensive hydrophones as his medium.

carlo_francis.jpgCarlo Francis is a graduate student at University of Florida pursuing his Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Carlo designed the last SubjuGator’s hull. He also works with University of Florida’s micro air vehicle team, which wins competitions annually.

lookright2.jpgDon Burnett is an undergraduate electrical engineering/physics/math student at University of Florida. For SubjuGator, he deals heavily in MS Robotics Studio and general logistics. Although Don will be graduating soon, he plans to attend graduate school.

Thomas Feeney..
Electrical Engineer..

lookleft2.jpgThomas Feeney is an undergraduate Electrical Engineering student at University of Florida. When he’s not managing the team’s servers, cavorting with Macs, or buying cheap lunch at the Plaza of the Americas, Tom works with many of SubjuGator’s sensor components.

..Dr. Eric Schwartz
..Electrical Engineer
eric_schwartz.jpgDr. Eric Schwartz is a senior lecturer in the Electrical & Computer Engineering department. He has guided the SubjuGator through waves of students for the past nine years as director of University of Florida’s Machine Intelligence Laboratory. Schwartz received two Bachelors degrees, one in Electrical Engineering and one in Mechanical Engineering, at the University of Florida in 1984. He received his Masters and Ph.D. from the University of Florida in 1989 and 1995, respectively.
